Saturday (3/21) I did a quick day trip up to Dad's to pick up some of Maria Susana's stuff. Somehow I ended up with three birds in the front seat on the way back, too. Just what we needed, more birds. At least they are small. All seemed to do well and are fine today. Dad is doing well, working over the walls and interior of the house. Looks a lot brighter and more open already. Now if he can get the one chicken to quit following him around maybe he can get a bit more done each day.
The drive up went pretty well, I-10 - I-17 with no stops in 2:45 from our place to Dad's. Coming back I decided to avoid the zoo of rental cars and gawkers to zip over to Payson, then 87 to Mesa to 60, through Florence and home. I missed the shortcut of Bush Highway / Usery Pass and ended up taking 4:15 total. I sure prefer flying up - minimal traffic issues, etc.
All well otherwise - where is everyone?
